Scrapbooking handmade paper embellishments

Hello Friends ,
Today I am sharing something interesting , I have always loved Reusing & it has been my main focus in crafting . It`s becoming an obsession to identify reusable stuff and I keep pushing my creativity out of my comfort zone. I love stationary so I mostly use Locally available stuffs in my creations or make my own embellishments available around in my house So that is what distinct my work from Others.

I am certain that you will have plenty of material to collect at home and create many, many different cute embellishments for cards, invitations, gifts, tags, and also art to be hanged, given and for your art journals, altered books and even scrapbook pages!

This will make you exercise your creativity!
Sorting my Scraps on colours

I used my collection of punches and die cuts to cut the Scraps,
Punches are a lot of fun and they can be easily found!

I can`t believe how many of them I made! Soon I will have to give them away to friends!

What I like is that what was left of the boxes was reduced to very, very little waste! You will have the shapes and also some stencils to use in your mixed media projects!

here are few of earlier works

I will be adding more creative projects with the idea of recycling so stay tuned for more!

I hope you are inspired to create ! :D

Thank you so much for visiting & taking the time to comment on my blog. I love to hear from you & truly appreciate your feedback.

I have inked the canvas with tattered rose distress ink, stuck over an embossed cardstock with daisies n coloured them with water-colours added few more Flowers and die cut purple butterflies and finally stamped.

Filled with soft warm colours, florals and watercolours
this mood board is a delight.

I'm quite happy with how the canvas turned out, Thanks to the Inkspirational DT Sherry Russ at STAMPlorations blog

Crayon Canvas Art

Hello friends,

Crayons waste you are confused with , use them to decorate your home with canvas wall art with crayon melting technique

Today I 'm sharing my new found love for mixed media,
Mixed media,  refers to an artwork in the making of which more than one medium has been employed.

I have tried out mixed media scrapboard here, mediums used are wax crayons melting  acrylic paint and distress ink!

This picture of ours was clicked for Holi and wanted the background to match the splash effect :)

For the background I started playing around with crayons and hair dryer.

Supplies You'll Need

LOTS of Crayons

Tweezer

Hair Dryer Canvas

Grab your canvas and a color and start!! I suggest starting with a corner, its easier to build upon. If you want a watercolor look, keep it flat.

The next step is the easiest and the harderst. Peel those crayons and get to blow drying.
I held the crayon with the tweezer to heat action and then heating them up that way. There is definitely a method to doing all of this properly .

tried one more method and kept the canvas vertical while melting orange crayons. If you want the watercolor smeary look then keep yours flat but if you want the drippy look then this is the way to do it. Also, rotating the canvas every now and then helps keep the drippy things interesting!

love the effect here

Make your own and let me see them!!

Next I worked on with a peice Bubble Wrap and white Acrylic paint

stencilled background

Further down on the canvas created background using bubble wrap n distress inks,
this is how the whole background came up with stamping and embellishing!

here found splash looks like a horse running in the sun, what say??

Stamped directly on the canvas n loved its effect !

Finally added a few embellishments here .
