Water Colour Crayons

Hello Friends, Summer vacations are on  and we are crafting together (my son, jr artist) so we are trying new stuffs each day. Today we are sharing something new we found at the stationary !  We've tried watercolor pencils before a few times and they've never worked well for us, but I recently found some watercolor crayons to try and we are all thoroughly impressed.   Jr and I spent much of the afternoon drawing with them yesterday and then painting over the drawings with water to create the watercolor effect. This box comes with 12 colours. You can use them to make great quick and easy backgrounds; also for stamping. And they are easy and fun to use.These particular watercolor crayons feel and draw more like oil pastels than traditional crayons 
Here a quick tutorial.
1. Start with coloring around your water colour paper with a few colors of watercolor crayons.

GUEST POST MARATHON DIY- Recycled Notebook & Journal

Hello everyone, 
I am super excited today, as this is my Guest post for  Karaashilp's GUEST POST MARATHON.  I hope you enjoy all the beautiful inspiration by the various guest designers. 

Recycled Notebook and Journal Use them as birthday/anniversary reminder book, pocket sketchbook(for us, crafters), grocery list (add a magnet to the back and stick it your refrigerator), or just a To Do list many possibilities.
They are quick and easy to make – and are a great size to pack in a purse or backpack

I  have used Teresa CollinsYOU ARE MY HAPPY papers here !!  I am in love with all of the fun patterns!! The copper foil on the papers and on the die cut borders is amazing, I love how it's the perfect shade!  I have enjoyed making the album using the mini file folders.
 For this book,  The story of today on my cover is a 4 x 3 card!  I have used Kaisercraft spring bloom die cuts here
